U.S. Customs & Declarations Resources
Use official sources for official requirements. Rules can change, and the agencies linked below determine what applies to your trip—not ABRYVA™.
Customs and entry
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Travel — entry, declarations, duties, and restricted or prohibited items.
- CBP: What Items Must I Declare? — an official traveler question about declaring items brought into the United States.
Destinations, passports, and local laws
- U.S. Department of State: Planning Your Travel — advisories, entry requirements, and destination planning.
- Travel Advisories — current destination risk information.
- U.S. Passports — applications, renewals, and passport guidance.
- Laws Abroad — local laws and customs, including restrictions on what you may bring into a country.
Agricultural and wildlife products
- USDA APHIS: Traveling with Agricultural Products — food, plants, seeds, animal products, and related items.
- USDA APHIS: Traveling From Another Country — a starting point for items brought into the United States.
Before you travel
- Check current entry and visa requirements for each destination and transit country.
- Review local laws and import restrictions before buying items to bring home.
- Keep purchase receipts and relevant documentation when useful for your own records.
When returning to the United States
Travelers may need to declare purchases and other goods acquired abroad, along with certain food, plants, agricultural products, and wildlife products. Whether an item may enter, and what requirements apply, depends on the item and circumstances. Review current CBP and USDA instructions and follow the directions of officials at entry.
ABRYVA™’s role
